Papon’s MTV Roadies X Theme out for Free Download!

After Airport’s Arijit Datta in Season 8 and Agnee in Season 9, MTV Roadies have this roped in Papon and the East India Company for their Season 10 song. The track, titled Jajabor, was released for free download some time back. The Assamese-Hindi lyrics have been penned by Papon and Raghu Ram, who also joins Papon behind the mic. Like its predecessors, Jajabor too follows an upbeat theme even as it combines, in the band’s regular style, Assamese folk elements with a predominantly rock template. Highlight of the song is without doubt Papon’s rendition – to hear the man sing Assami folk is a thing of beauty really. And the best part of the song is the opening, where the man sings to a lone tokari’s strumming, just before the guitars kick in.
