Internationally renowned danseuse and Padma Shri recipient Shobana is coming back to UK in October 2016 with her latest production : Dancing Drums – Trance. Last year Shobana and troupe had enthralled UK with the uniquely presented musical dance drama, ‘Krishna’. This year promises to be even more spectacular. Dancing Drums comprises a confluence of various Indian, Asian & Western performing traditions seamlessly woven together. This collage of rhythm, colours, poetry and Bharatanatyam interweaving mythology of Vishnu, Siva & Gospel of Mary Magdalene promises to transport the audience into a state of trance!
The show is happening in London on 15th October 2016, Aylesbury on 16th October 2016 and Leicester on 19th October 2016.
